Lisa Simmons has worked in the technology industry for more than 25 years, beginning as programming expert at Yale University helping PhD students with their research. She joined TopSpeed Corporation in 1990 as a developer; during her 10 years with TopSpeed, she was responsible for creating Clarion Editor and Clarion Report Writer, and conducted consulting projects for the company.
In 1999, Ms. Simmons joined LexisNexis Risk Solutions, formerly eData.com, as Development Manager. In that role, she was responsible for Clarion development, including Listmaker, UPS, and proof of concepts. In 2001 she was promoted to Product Manager for Seisint, where she was helped spearhead the development of the LexisNexis flagship solution – Accurint – from start to finish, including requirements writing, testing, and product management.
Ms. Simmons was promoted to Vice President, Product Development in 2005, where she guided product development activities within the Accurint platform and served as primary technology liaison for the Collections market. In March 2012 she was named Vice President Technology, Public Records. Her responsibilities expanded to include all Public Records technology, including Business Services and Government solutions.
In March 2015, Ms. Simmons was named to her current position as Vice President of Technology, responsible for all Government projects. She leads the engineering organization in building all products for the government sector, including all aspects related to the data build process, as well as all front-end web development. Her team includes ECL Query, Web interface, and visualization engineers. She also is responsible for Risk Solution Batch solutions, as well as System-to-System solutions.
Ms. Simmons attended Bentley College (now University) in Boston, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems.
